Vaxholm's Bed & Breakfast is located on a quiet street in beautiful old residential areas in central Vaxholm, in Stockholm's central archipelago. You can easily get here by boat, bus or your own car all year round.

By boat

Take the Waxholm boat from Strömkajen or the Cinderella boat from Strandvägen to Vaxholm. Keep the water on your left and walk towards Gästhamnen and the yellow car ferries. Cross the street that leads down to the car ferries and follow Östra Ekuddsgatan further along the water about 250 meters until you reach a small park. Take Drottninggatan up to the right. The house is at the top left of the street. Gray-green with white knots and a red fence.

By bus from Stockholm

Take bus 670 from Tekniska Högskolan in Stockholm. Get off at the Vaxholm church stop. Walk "back" about 100 meters and turn left onto Pilgatan. Then take the second left and you are on Drottninggatan. The house is the first one you come to on the right side. Gray-green with white knots and a red fence.

By own car from Stockholm

Take the E18 from Roslagstull in Stockholm towards Norrtälje. Take off towards Vaxholm road 274. Pass the Vaxholm bridge and follow the main road down towards the city center. Pass two traffic lights and then take the second right onto Pilgatan (just before the third traffic light). Continue about 30 meters and turn left onto Drottninggatan. The house is the first thing you see on your right. Gray-green with white knots and a red fence.

Parking

You can park on the street in front of the house, free parking for 24 hours, just make sure you don't accidentally block any of the neighbors' exits.

From Arlanda

The easiest way to get from Arlanda to Vaxholm is by taxi. The journey takes about 45 - 60 minutes depending on traffic. If you prefer to use public transport, take the Arlanda Express train or Flygbussarna bus to Stockholm Central, the metro to Tekniska högskolan (red line to Mörby Centrum) and then bus 670 (see above). You can also take the boat out of Stockholm if you prefer. Instead, take the blue line of the metro to Kungsträdgården from Stockholm Central (T-centralen). From there it is only a few minutes' walk to the Waxholmsbåtarna.
