Learn how to bake perfect saffron buns and old-fashioned gingerbread for Christmas

In mid-November, just a few weeks before Advent, Christmas baking begins at our Bed & Breakfast and the scent of saffron, cinnamon and cloves spreads over the house. Come and join us! During a few hours in the kitchen, you will learn the secret of baking really juicy saffron buns and crispy old-fashioned gingerbread with all the traditional spices.

We start with a joint lunch and then proceed to put our saffron dough. While the dough is rising, we cook a gingerbread dough according to Grandma Astrid's recipe. We also take the opportunity to ready bake a sheet or two. We end the day by tasting your finished saffron buns and gingerbread cookies. The buns that are left, and each gingerbread dough we pack in bags for you to bring back home.


Place in joint group
Price: SEK 1,795 per person

You bake together with others who have booked a place in the group, a maximum of 6 people can participate. Age limit: 13 years. The price includes lunch, all ingredients and workshop. You also get a gingerbread dough and lussebullar to take home.

Time: 13.00 - 17.00 (4 hours)

Private workshop
Price: 7,795 SEK (up to 4 participants)

In the private workshop, only you and your friends or family participate. In total, 6 people can join and bake. The price above is valid on weekdays for up to 4 participants, if you are more, SEK 1495 will be added per additional person.

The private workshop takes place every day of the week at a time that suits you, and there is no age limit. However, for weekends there is an additional weekend fee. As with the open workshop, lunch, workshop and all ingredients are included. You will also receive gingerbread dough and ready-made lussebullar to take home.

Duration: about 4 hours
