Monday morning, the time is just after eight and I’ve returned after delivering this morning’s freshly baked breakfast bread to our guests in the Seapilot’s Cottage. A couple of Vaxholmers hurried to catch the morning boat (it’s the first day after the holiday for many today), and at the Boulangerie some early morning guests drank their morning coffee. One and other boat owner were moving in the harbor, but apart from that, all was completely still. There is something special to bike around just then, when the island is waking up.
The Seapilot’s Cottage is our latest addition of accommodations. It is a wonderful little blue cottage, on a quiet courtyard, on the main street. No one can believe that it is there when they look at the gate to the main house, but as soon as you walk through the door a world of its own open up, with a private lush garden and quiet patio. Far from the throng of visitors on the street outside. I love it! Like our other accommodations the Seapilot’s Cottage will to be open year round. I’m sure it will be just as lovely when the autumn storms rage as now in the middle of the Summer. Welcome in!
