Come and cook with us

We love to cook and most fun is when cooking together. It is a wonderful and relaxed way to hang out and perhaps learn something new along the way. Do you want to join? In that case, you should book one of our cook alongs where we cook either lunch or dinner together which we then eat in our greenhouse. We decide what to cook together (before you come of course so we can shop in advance), but if we may decide, we pick classic Swedish dishes as in the examples below.

The number of chefs is limited to 4 people, but of course you can invite more lunch or dinner guests to the Greenhouse to enjoy your meal.

2-course lunch

Swedish meat balls

We cook a wonderful lunch with classical Swedish meatballs, gravy, lingonberries and pickled cucumber. Since no lunch is complete without dessert we will of cause make that too (see desserts).

Vaxholm herring

Vaxholm is famous for it’s herring fishing and fried herring with mashed potatoes, lingonberries and melted butter is a classic since the Stockholm society began to take the Waxholms boat out to Vaxholm in the 1860s to eat this delicacy at Waxholms Hotell. So of course you can cook herring also with us. We round off the lunch with a dessert (see desserts).

Swedish three course dinner

When we cook dinner someone is doing the starter, some the main course and someone focus on the dessert. We have put together three dinner menues, all with Swedish tastes. But if you prefer you can also pick starter, main and dessert from the different menus to combine your own 3-course meal.

Tastes from the northern Sweden

Swedish cheese pie with crème fraîche and roe

Classical Swedish

Small plate with an assortment of pickled herrings, crisp bread and cheeses from the local cheese factory ”Ostmakeriet”.
