Vaxholm Bed & Breakfast is located on a quiet street in the beautiful old villa district of central Vaxholm, in the Stockholm middle archipelago. You get here easily by boat, bus or car all year around.
By boat from Stockholm
Take the Waxholm boat from Strömkajen in Stockholm to Vaxholm. Once you get of at the quay in Vaxholm, keep the waterfront on your left hand side and walk towards the Guest Harbour and the yellow car ferries. Cross the street that leads to the car ferries and continue on Östra Ekuddsgatan for about 250 meters until you come to a small park on you right hand side. Turn right on Drottninggatan and follow the street 100 meters and you are here! Our house is to the left on the top of the street. You recognise it on the red fence. Check in is to the right on the house (behind the parking).

By bus from Stockholm
Take bus 670 from Tekniska Högskolan in Stockholm to Vaxholm. Get off at Vaxholm’s church (Vaxholms kyrka). Walk “back” 100 meters and turn left at Pilgatan. Take the second left and you are on Drottninggatan. Our house is the first on the right hand side. You recognise it on the red fence. Check in is to the right on the house (behind the parking).

By car from Stockholm
Drive E18 from Roslagstull in Stockholm towards Norrtälje. After 17 kilometers take road 274 towards Vaxholm. Pass the Vaxholm bridge and continue on the main road towards Vaxholm center. Once you see the third traffic light turn right on Pilgatan. Continue 30 meters and turn left at Drottninggatan. Our house is the first on the right hand side. You recognise it on the red fence. It’s ok to park on the street outside the B&B, just make sure that you don’t block the neighbour’s drive ways. Check in is to the right on the house (behind the parking).

Take the Waxholm boat directly from Strömkajen quai in Stockholm to Vaxholm. During Summer the boat leaves almost once an hour. If you choose the ships Storskär or Norrskär you will have the pleasure of going with one of the beautiful old steamboats.
