About Villa Akleja
Villa Akleja is our neighbouring property built in 1901 by the artist J.A.G Acke and his wife Eja Topelius, daughter of the Finnish national poet Zackarias Topelius. During Ackes lifetime, the house was often visited by his artist friends Bruno Liljefors, Verner von Heidenstam and Prince Eugen. Today, the art expert and Acke connoisseur Claes Moser lives here with his family. With them many of Ackes works have found their way back home. The house is also opened for pre-booked groups that want to hear more about Acke and the Swedish turn of the century art.
