It smells of cinnamon buns. Yesterday I had a baking workshop here in the B & B kitchen and this morning when I got up to bake the guests’ breakfast bread the smell was still left. The baking workshops are one of this summer’s news here at the B & B. Yesterday, we ended up with both classic cinnamon buns and a variant where we dipped the hot buns in sugar and cardamom. Not bad at all. On Saturday it’s time again and I’m already looking forward to it. If you want to join, let me know, there is still room for a few more.
Today I will roast muesli for the breakfast granola. It’s running out quickly now when it is high season and many want breakfast baskets. But first I will go down to the City Hall for a meeting with Destination Vaxholm, our tourist organisation here in Vaxholm, to discuss upcoming event, and then I will meet some guests who will check in at the Seapilot’s Cottage by the boat. It’s probably going to be a fairly busy day, but that’s just how it’s supposed to be. It’s June and vacations have just begun.
