We have lovely summer days. Guests check in and out. Some spend the days here in Vaxholm, others make day trips by Waxholm boat to Möja, Sandhamn, Finnhamn, Svartsö, Grinda, or any of the other islands that are easy to get to by boat. Vaxholm is a hub for the archipelago boats and almost all boats departing from Stockholm to the archipelago stops here, making Vaxholm is an ideal base for exploring the archipelago.
Between the trips the guests often relax in the sunny patio of the B & B garden. We have prepared a special corner of the garden where our guests can drink the morning coffee in peace and quiet, or barbecue in the evening if they so wish. Until a few years ago stood here a gigantic poplar that overshadowed everything in its vicinity. But since it disappeared, the site has gradually turned into a sunny patio framed by mock orange and lilac and a flowerbed with perennials where I usually pick cut flowers to the B & B apartments. Of the poplar only a part of the stem remains. Jesper founded a large concrete top to it so nowadays it serves as the foot to the guests’ garden table.
